Biography.
Stéphane Ridard is a fine art photographer who divides his time between Iceland and France.
His work is inspired by desolate and unspoiled landscapes, with a particular fascination for the raw and fragile beauty of the Northern territories.
Through his images, he seeks to capture the silent dialogue between solitude, light and immensity.
With over thirteen years of experience as a director, Stéphane has developed a visual language that blends cinematic sensibility and photographic contemplation.
Gradually, his artistic journey led him to document the isolated and fragile regions of the Arctic, where time seems suspended and nature reveals itself in its most elementary forms.
His photographs are an attempt to preserve the traces of these places that have remained on the margins of human presence.
